It was a big night for Kanye West. The mogul took home the Footwear News Achievement Award for Shoe of the Year for his much buzzed about Yeezy Boost collaboration with Adidas Originals. While Kanye was accepting his award, many in the shoe biz were celebrating alongside him after a whirlwind year for the designer.
Jon Wexler, Adidas’ global director of entertainment and influencer marketing, gave West a major shoutout on social media, especially after West gave a special nod to the Adidas team during his speech.
Adidas Originals executives also shared the big news on Instagram.
Kim Kardashian celebrated her husband’s big win on both Instagram and Twitter, sharing a shot from the stage and captioning her photos: “I see how hard you work and how meaningful this award is.”

Libby Edelman, who was inducted into the FN Hall of Fame with her husband and partner Sam Edelman, shared a shot on Instagram of her with Kanye.
