It has been the year of Amy Schumer, and thanks to the Pirelli Calendar, Schumer’s fame will continue to grow in 2016.
Annie Leibovitz shot the project, featuring the comedian nearly nude in Stuart Weitzman‘s Nudist sandals. As far as shoe moments go, they’re the perfect pair.
Schumer posted the photo to Instagram with the caption: “Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman.”
Other stars in the project include Serena Williams, producer Kathleen Kennedy, Yoko Ono, Fran Lebowitz and former supermodel Natalia Vodianova.
At a press conference, Leibovitz discussed this year’s lineup. “The goal was to be very straightforward,” she said. “I wanted the pictures to show the women exactly as they are, with no pretense.”
Leibovitz took to her Instagram to post photos of Schumer and Williams with the caption: “The calendar is a groundbreaking departure from traditional pin-up, featuring powerful female icons like Amy Schumer and Serena Williams.”

Weitzman’s Nudist sandals are known for being a favorite among the celebrity set.
