A Sneak Peek At ‘House of DVF,’ Season 2

Diane von Furstenberg is back on the TV screen. The designer’s show, “House of DVF,” is returning to E! for Season 2, and the trailer is teasing some standout moments.

“Last year, we started a brand-ambassador program, giving girls an opportunity,” she says in the clip. “Call me crazy, but we’re doing it again.”

“Diane is expecting us to find a dream team,” adds Stefani Greenfield, creative brand director at DVF.

Of course, some tears are shed, and Furstenberg chimes in with “welcome to the world of fashion” in the teaser.

Recently, FN spoke to Furstenberg for a cover story about Paul Andrew, a shoe designer destined for major stardom. As the president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, DVF was just one of the powerful fashion names on the panel that chose Andrew as the first footwear winner of the much-buzzed-about CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund competition.

“Paul is a true talent and he really understands shoes. He pays a great deal of attention to fit and women’s needs in general,” she said. “He’s a total pro and will be one of the shoe designers who has an impact.”

The latest season of “House of DVF” is set to premiere Sunday, Sept. 13. Brittany Hampton, who studied at FIDM, was the Season 1 winner.

FN can’t wait to see the shoes the show’s competitors will wear — all DVF styles? Could be a smart move.
