Inside Nicholas Kirkwood’s 10th Anniversary London Fashion Week Bash

Nicholas Kirkwood‘s 10th anniversary bash on Saturday evening drew an eclectic crowd of London Fashion Week party-goers. Jourdan Dunn, Lindsay Lohan and Dree Hemingway — who presented the designer with his FNAA award in 2011 — were all on hand to toast Kirkwood and check out his arcade-themed anniversary collection.

The venue? A multilevel club on Adams Street modeled after an 1980s arcade. A”Back to the Future” DeLorean was even parked outside to greet guests, many of whom climbed in the car to pose for photos.

Inside, the new collection — inspired by “Star Wars,” “Pac Man'” and other 1980s icons — was in the spotlight amid the backdrop of arcade-themed games.

“It’s a pure creative project based on all of my favorite shoes,” Kirkwood, who was born in 1980, the same year as Pac-Man, told FN a few days before the event. “I wanted to celebrate 10 years of the brand with a collection that sums up many things for me and what I stand for: challenging convention and subverting people’s ideas of what footwear should look like.”
