Adidas Originals is set to release its Vanguard Collection, with shoes inspired by adventurous exploration through maritime and wilderness landscapes. For the release of the collection, the brand has teamed-up with renowned New York-based retailer Extra Butter for a scavenger hunt for the first 100 pairs of each shoe.
The collection uses the brand’s ZX Flux and ZX Trail Mid silhouettes, which will retail for $130 and $140, respectively. The Instagram scavenger hunt will take place on Saturday, with the collection being available via the retailer’s online store on Monday. The shoes will be available through select Adidas Originals’ retail partners on Sept. 12.

The ZX Flux Chief Diver, inspired by nautical seascapes and the life that inhabits it, boasts a rare species print neoprene upper with glow in the dark accents.
The ZX Trail Mid Scout Leader, influenced by survival enthusiasts and campgrounds, features a duck canvas and nappy suede upper that boasts embroidered patches.
