The global fashion experience continues for fall, this time marrying the athletic and designer worlds. Adidas Originals heads to Japan for a fall ’15 collaboration with women’s ready-to-wear label Hyke. Designed by Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode, the apparel and footwear line will be available at adidas Originals stores beginning October 30.
Staying true to Hyke’s design philosophy of clean, understated looks with a tailored slant, the collection builds upon classic Adidas Originals silhouettes, elevating them through premium material constructions and forward design details.
The casual sports-inspired collection is available in classic heather gray and python, with highlights that include crew sweats with rear-zip closures, wind tops and a classic bench coat. In addition, there’s calf-length skirts and the season’s must-have track pants. It’s all tied together through trefoil graphic placements on the chest, back and rear waistline.
A companion accessories collection includes hosiery such as popular leggings and socks featuring the brand’s signature stripes. There’s also a clutch style bag that takes inspiration from the original adidas Airliner bag. In addition, there’s the essential three-stripes turtleneck warmer.

The tight footwear package includes updates of the iconic Stan Smith predecessor — the Haillet — and a monochromatic edition of the classic 70s SL72 runner, each co-branded.
