Adidas And Palace Skateboards Launch Collection Nov. 7

Adidas Originals is once again collaborating with London’s legendary Palace skateboards with a global release set for Nov. 7.

Last season’s Palace Pro model is back in three eye-mashing colorways, in a new silhouette — the  Palace Pro Boost. Tweaking the original Palace Pro through Adidas’ futuristic Boot outsole tooling, the tech-tilted shoe is offered in the black and turquoise palettes that also run throughout the apparel collection.

This collab follows a series of other Adidas team-ups. Just a few days ago, the athletic company debuted a collection with women’s ready-to-wear label Hyke. Designed by Hideaki Yoshihara and Yukiko Ode, the apparel and footwear are available at Adidas Originals stores. The tight footwear package includes updates on the iconic Stan Smith predecessor — the Haillet — and a monochromatic edition of the classic ’70s S: 72 runner, each co-branded.

For spring ’16, Adidas is continuing its association with Raf Simons on its iconic Stan Smith style. This time around, it echoes the original Velcro straps that appeared on the style in the 1980s and is available in three color ways. Simons has also updated the Stan Smith in light copper and silver, as well as blush yellow, ash pink and night marine, while black-and-white leather styles were given a vintage touch. The styles will be available in mid-February at the Adidas concept stores in Paris and Berlin, as well as select boutiques worldwide.
