Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 Black Release Date Confirmed

The Aug. 22 release date for the black Yeezy Boost 350 has been confirmed by Adidas, as the German-based athletic brand posted an image on its Adidas Originals Instagram account today of the shoe with the date.

The release date initially leaked online July 29.

The shoe boasts an all black upper with dark gray accents made of the brand’s Primeknit material, with an all black outsole that features the brand’s Boost cushioning technology. The shoe’s laces are dark gray with black accents.

The first Yeezy Boost 350 was released on June 27 and had a retail price of $200. The shoe featured an all gray with black accented Primeknit upper with an all white Boots outsole. The release date for that shoe also leaked online prior to the brand making the announcement, being revealed on May 27.

The black silhouette is the third Yeezy Boost release from Adidas and West. The collaborations began with the release of the high-top gray-and-white Yeezy Boost 750, which launched in New York City during NBA All-Star Weekend on Feb. 14, followed by a worldwide launch on Feb. 28. The low-top gray-and-white Yeezy Boost 350 was the second release between the brand and the rap star.
