Champs Sports has teamed up with superstar NFL receiver Antonio Brown, NBA standout Andrew Wiggins, and record producer DJ Khaled – a former Champs employee before the fame – for its latest video series to playfully show the best athletic looks for the holidays.
“The taste of our target consumer is constantly influenced by their favorite athletes,” said David Lokes, VP of marketing for Champs Sports, in a statement. “Combining DJ Khaled‘s history with our company and the distinct styles and personalities of Andrew Wiggins and Antonio Brown allowed us to express our ‘We Know Game’ proposition in an organic and authentic way.”
The first installment of the “Game Consultants” video series, a 90-second clip featuring DJ Khaled and Brown, is live on the retailer’s YouTube page now. The retailer will release nine videos in total featuring the three renowned figures throughout the holiday season.
Before the video campaign’s launch, Brown, who said his favorite shoe is the Nike Huarache Run, told Footwear News that there is no better candidate to talk about style and swagger than he is.

“The game is about approaching everything in life with swagger. Champs Sports had a difficult time finding someone more qualified than I am to do be a Game Consultant,” Brown said playfully.
