Converse Launches Free Concert Series for Boston Headquarters Opening

If you’re looking to see a concert and are in the Boston area, you can thank Converse. The sneaker company is set to kick off Converse Rubber Tracks Live, a five-day free concert series that will boast acts from a variety of music genres and will take place at The Sinclair, starting April 27.

The company is throwing the concert series to celebrate the completion of Converse’s new world headquarters at the city’s Lovejoy Wharf development.

“In anticipation of Converse’s momentous move from North Andover to Boston, we wanted to bring our Converse Rubber Tracks music platform to the city in the most incredible way possible,” said Jed Lewis, global music marketing director for Converse, in a statement. “The city of Boston has always supported us, and this free five-day concert series, featuring local artists, is our way of showing our gratitude and appreciation to the residents who continue to embrace Converse as part of the community.”

To have a shot at snagging tickets, register online at Converse-Music.com starting April 20 at noon. Tickets will be allotted through a drawing, and the lucky ticket holders will be notified via email on April 22.
