The supply of black Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers is likely dwindling since the shoe’s much-anticipated release on Saturday. Some retailers raffled off pairs, while others had customers waiting in long lines.
But there may be a glimmer of hope for those still scrambling to find a pair. U.K.-based MatchesFashion.com is giving away three pairs through an Instagram contest that ends on 11:59pm BST, which is 7pm EDT here in the U.S. The three winners will be chosen and contacted via an Instagram direct message by Sept. 4.
Demand for the highly coveted sneakers even caused some sites’ servers to crash as customers swarmed online to purchase a pair. YCMC.com received a record number of visitors to its site, causing it to crash.
Over the weekend, Kim Kardashian-West posted a photo on Instagram of a pile of black Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers. She told her followers they can head to YeezySupply.com for a chance to win a pair and to receive restock alerts and news. The site also offers a limited stock of the sneakers.
