Jordy Geller, owner of the now-defunct ShoeZeum and the Guinness World Record holder for largest collection of sneakers, is parting ways with much of that collection through the consignment website eBay. Proceeds from the sales will go to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Geller listed roughly 125 pairs of sneakers on his eBay account, shoezeum, including a pair of Nike Dunk Lows autographed by Lance Dillon, Nike Air Max 95s, Nike Shox Turbos and Nike Air Jordan 3s. The shoes are all available for purchase in 10-day auctions, with bids starting at 99 cents.
The Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation, an organization that secures philanthropic support for Portland, Ore.’s Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, will receive 50 percent to 100 percent of the proceeds from each shoe, with the percentages listed in each auction. The hospital has more than 1,000 doctors, nurses and staff trained in pediatric care, including cardiology, cardiac surgery, cancer, neurosurgery and neonatal care, according to its website.
Geller has ties to the hospital, having paid $11,100 for the What the Doernbecher, a Nike Dunk designed by patients being treated there, he told FN in August.

The renowned sneakerhead will list more pairs from his collection on eBay today, with proceeds from the sales continuing to go to the foundation.
