Looking for a pair of one-of-a-kind kicks? Check out dining hot spot Lavo in New York on Saturday, Dec. 12, when Dominic Chambrone — The Shoe Surgeon — will be on hand to create your dream pair of sneakers.
Chambrone is best known for working with some of the entertainment and athletic industry’s coolest members, including Will IAM, Fat Joe, Eminem, Post Malone and Olympuic medalist Will Claye. Chambrone will be taking orders at the restaurant from 2 pm to 6 pm.
The wait time for a pair of customized shoes can be anywhere from 40 hours to several weeks. The wait for a handmade pair can take up to a year, with prices starting at $1,500.
In addition to custom looks, Cambrone has worked with Lavo on the LAVO X Shoe Surgeon style — an Air Jordan 1 high-top made of black Horween leather and detailed with genuine crocodile and finished with soft gold leather insoles and premium leather laces.
And after the sun sets, Lavo’s signature cocktails will be available during a performance by Classic Man of Jidenna, plus a surprise guest. Lavo is located at 38 E. 58th St.
