Nike Air Max 90 Cork Hits Shelves Friday

Fans of Nike’s classic Air Max 90 silhouette will soon have a new gem to add to their collection. To celebrate the shoe’s 25th anniversary, the sneaker giant is set to release the Air Max 90 Cork on April 24.

The name of the sneaker is exactly what you’re going to get — a shoe with the entire upper made of a cork material that has been used by the company before on the much-celebrated and sought-after release from 2013, the LeBron X EXT Cork (which is still on the market via Flight Club and private sellers on eBay in the $900 range).

In addition to the cork upper, the new shoe features black highlights on the outsole, swoosh, laces and lining; one of Nike’s most profound colors, infrared, providing accents along the heel and throughout the body of the shoe; and a predominantly white outsole.

The Air Max 90 Cork will be available at select Nike retailers and will retail for $135.
