Nike’s James Harden, Adidas’ Dwight Howard Lead Rockets to Western Conference Finals

The Houston Rockets completed an unlikely comeback Sunday, beating the Los Angeles Clippers 113-100 and advancing to the Western Conference Finals after being down 3-1 in the series.

The Rockets were led by the play of Nike-sponsored James Harden and Adidas-sponsored Dwight Howard. Harden wore a player’s edition of the Nike Zoom Run the One, featuring a red upper with red and wolf gray outsole, and black accents on the interior and a toe-to-midsole swoosh. Howard hit the court in the D Howard 5, with a red-and-white upper and white outsole.

Houston’s scoring was led by its star guard Harden, who posted 31 points and dished out eight assists. Howard put up 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.
