Before last night’s home opener against the New Orleans Pelicans, the Golden State Warriors received their rings and hoisted their championship banner into the rafters. After the ceremony, Stephen Curry put on a shooting clinic, showing he’s still in MVP form.
The Under Armour-sponsored guard dropped 40 points last night, including 24 in the first quarter. The reigning regular season MVP shot 14-for-26, including hitting five three-pointers. Curry added seven assists to his offensive totals.
Curry hit the court in a currently unreleased colorway of his latest Under Armour signature shoe, the Curry Two. The shoe was reminiscent of the Warriors’ home colors, featuring a predominantly white upper with cobalt blue on the heel counter, Under Armour branding, collar and laces. The shoe featured a cobalt blue and white midsole and a taxi yellow outsole.
As he has done in the past, Curry wrote the phrase, “I can do all things…” on the front of the shoe before tipoff, a shortened version of the guard’s favorite biblical verse.

Curry and the Warriors will travel to Houston for their next game, taking on the Rockets, led by last season’s MVP runner-up and Adidas-sponsored athlete, James Harden. Under Armour released a road-inspired colorway of the Curry Two yesterday, named Dub Nation, featuring a predominantly cobalt blue and academy blue upper with taxi tallow outsole and accents.
