The long awaited collaboration between Jordan Brand and renowned boutique streetwear retailer and brand Supreme will hit stores soon – just not in the U.S.
Supreme announced today via its Instagram and Facebook accounts that its collaboration on the Air Jordan 5, featuring three colorways on the iconic silhouette, will be available online and in its London store on Friday, and in its Japan location on Saturday. Supreme also stated that the shoes would not be available in the N.Y. or L.A. locations.
The shoe’s three colorways include white, black and red with an icy translucent sole; black, red, and white with an icy translucent outsole; and desert camouflage, black and red with an icy translucent outsole. Instead of the number 23 embroidered on the shoe’s upper near the heel like the original is the number 94, a nod to the year Supreme opened in N.Y., 1994.

The Air Jordan 5, inspired by the design of a WWII fighter plane, was first released in 1990, ready for the 1990-91 season, the first season Michael Jordan led the Chicago Bulls on a string of three consecutive titles. Jordan was also named the NBA MVP of both the regular season and the finals.
Supreme has not yet released the retail price of the shoe.
