Under Armour’s Curry Two Releasing Sept. 6 In China, Oct. 24 Globally

The first signature shoe for reigning KIA NBA MVP Stephen Curry, Under Armour‘s Curry One, was coveted by basketball fans and sneakerheads alike. The brand is set to follow-up the successful first release with Curry’s second signature shoe, the Curry Two.

The first colorway of the Curry Two, named Iron Sharpens Iron, will be released in China on Sept. 6, with a global release on Oct. 24. The shoe has a retail price of $130.

Curry is travelling with the Baltimore-based brand to China, Japan and the Philippines, starting with his landing in Beijing on Sept. 6 to celebrate the shoe’s launch. The shoe will release in Japan and the Philippines on Sept. 7.

The Curry Two Iron Sharpens Iron, inspired by the baller’s commitment leadership on and off the court for the Golden State Warriors, features a grey upper with yellow hints coming through perforations, an orange midsole that fades yellow and boasts speckles, which are representative of the forging of metal.

The shoe is the first basketball silhouette for Under Armour to use a full-length Charged Cushioning midsole unit and a UA SpeedForm seamless upper.

“The first time I put my foot in the Curry Two, I knew having Charged Cushioning through the whole shoe would be a performance difference-maker,” Curry said in a statement. “I’ve been wearing the Curry Two all summer in my workouts, and I’m excited that the design and performance of the shoe will not just enhance my game, but it will provide all basketball players with real innovation that works.”
