Weekend Sneaker Releases: Adidas, Jordan And Nike

The number of sneaker releases this weekend are few, but the quality of those releases is well above average.

Check out what brands will have on retail shelves this Friday and Saturday.

Nike CJ3 Flyweave Trainer

The latest signature shoe of Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson hits stores Friday, with a $160 retail price tag. The shoe features a midnight navy, radiant emerald and white Flyweave upper with a navy, white and red outsole.

Adidas D Lillard 1

Adidas has released many colorways of Portland Trail Blazers star guard Damian Lillard’s first signature shoe, the D Lillard 1, and the brand is set to release another one Friday. The latest features an all-red upper with a black-with-red-speckle-pattern outsole. The shoe has a $105 retail price.

Nike KD8 Hunt’s Hill Sunrise

Kevin Durant and his Seat Pleasant, Md., friends nicknamed a neighborhood intersection with a 75-foot incline “Hunt’s Hill,” where they would keep themselves in shape by running or performing basketball drills. The name makes its way onto the latest KD8 release, Hunt’s Hill Sunrise, hitting stores Saturday. The upper is predominately orange with black and volt accents, with a black outsole. The shoe has a $180 price tag.

Nike Air Max 95 Men’s and Women’s

Nike’s iconic running silhouette turned 20 this year, and to celebrate, the brand is releasing more versions of the shoe. On Saturday, the Air Max 95 will be availablke in multiple colorways for men and women, including the original black, volt, medium ash and dark pewter colorway for men, which comes with a $170 price tag.

Air Jordan 1.5 The Return

Michael Jordan’s signature shoes are undoubtedly a sneakerhead favorite, and on Saturday, fans can pick up the Air Jordan 1.5, which uses the Air Jordan 1 High upper with an Air Jordan II sole. The shoe features a red, white and black upper with a white-and-red outsole. It has a retail price of $150.
