Weekend Sneaker Releases: Under Armour, Nike, Jordan, Onitsuka Tiger

The collections of sneakerheads will undoubtedly grow with the number of releases hitting stores this weekend. Nike, Under Armour, Brand Jordan and Onitsuka Tiger all have sneakers coming out, from retro silhouettes to new editions of signature shoes.

Nike KD7 CNVS EXT

While fans of superstar forward Kevin Durant wait for his next signature shoe, they have a new colorway of his current signature shoe, the Nike KD7, to pick up. The KD7 CNVS EXT will be available Friday, with a $200 price tag. The shoe’s upper is split between plaid, polka dots and pinstripes, with an icy and black outsole.

Nike Air Flight Huarache

A sneakerhead favorite, the Nike Air Flight Huarache will hit stores Friday in its original white, black, blue and purple colorway. The mid shoe with classic neoprene bootie will retail for $115.

Nike Flyknit Racer Orange Slice

Basketball silhouettes aren’t the only styles coming out this weekend. On Friday, Nike will release the Flyknit Racer Orange Slice, with a $150 price tag. The shoe features a bright crimson Flyknit upper with a black swoosh, and a white, black and bright crimson outsole.

Under Armour Curry One MVP

Stephen Curry may be struggling in the NBA Finals, but his MVP regular season should not go uncelebrated – and it won’t. Under Armour is releasing the MVP colorway of his signature shoe on Saturday, the Curry One. The shoe features an upper that is a black-to-white gradient, with gold Under Armour logo on the side and Curry logo on the tongue. The outsole is predominantly white, with gold appearing towards the midsole and heel. The shoe will retail for $120.

Air Jordan Retro 13 Low

Air Jordan releases are always popular, and the Retro 13 Low coming out Saturday is sure to sell quickly. The sneaker will have a retail price tag of $160 and features an all black upper, with hints of red on the tongue. It also features red lining and a gold Jumpman logo near the ankle. The shoe’s outsole is white, black and red.

Nike Air Force 1 Retro High QS

The popular basketball shoe that hit shelves in 1982 will once again be in stores in its original high-top version. The shoe will make its U.S. debut at select Nike accounts Saturday; the price has not yet been revealed. Its upper is predominantly white, with the gray swoosh and lining providing its only contrast. The outsole is also predominately white, with gray lining offering a different color on the shoe’s base. The sneaker also features its original white nylon tongue and white canvas ankle strap.

Nike LeBron 12 Witness

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James is playing incredibly for his heavily injured team in the NBA Finals, and while the forward is still on the court, a new colorway of his LeBron 12 signature shoe will hit stores. The Witness edition will be available Saturday, with a $200 price tag. The shoe’s upper is laser orange, with black Hyperposite material providing contrast. A darker orange is featured on the shoe’s laces, lining, and swoosh logo near the midsole. The shoe is finished with an icy outsole.

Nike Kyrie 1 Letterman

Cleveland Cavaliers guard isn’t playing in the NBA Finals because of a knee injury, but that doesn’t mean new editions of his Nike signature shoe won’t be released. The Kyrie 1 Letterman is set to be released Saturday. The latest colorway is mostly tour yellow and university gold, featuring teal accents from the lining to the jagged pattern along the front of the outsole. The shoe also has hints of white on the outsole. The shoe has a retail price tag of $110.

Onitsuka Tiger x Makumo Natto

Onitsuka Tiger partnered with Japanese textile brand Makumo for a men’s and women’s capsule collection, with its first release set for Saturday. The Natto will be the first release of the collection, utilizing Onitsuka Tiger’s Mexico 66 silhouette. The shoe’s print has the appearance of a traditional fermented bean, representing the power fermentation has. The shoe will have a $110 price tag.
