The Ultimate Treasure Hunt: Adidas Yeezy Boost 350s Hidden In NYC

Calling all sneakerheads, #Yeezmas has arrived. It’s that time of the year when even though all of the Yeezy Boost sneakers are sold out (unless you’re willing to explore the re-sale market) there is still a chance to win a pair for free.

Hypeist, the Instagram account that hides new and exclusive goods like sneakers and artwork all over New York City is dropping a pair of Moonrock Yeezy Boost 350s for fans to find.

The treasure hunt is set for this Sunday, Dec. 13th, at 3:50 p.m. and there’s only 150 available spots offering a chance to find Kanye West’s coveted kicks.

Kanye West trivia challenges will be held in order for people to earn an invite to the hunt on hypeist.com/yeezmas. Trivia questions include: “This Brooklyn-based artist has collabed with Bape + Nike, re-designed MTV’s VMA Moon Man Statue and designed the cover of one of Kanye’s album. Which artist is this?”

Each winner will also be able to bring a guest to help them hunt, which continues until someone finds the winning token that is redeemable for the sneakers. For obvious reasons the shoes themselves will not be hidden.

According to Hypeist, the clue will be released to participants on the day of the event.

The Adidas Moonrock 350s completed the Yeezy Season 1 released in November. West, who recently won FN’s Shoe of the Year award at the Footwear News Achievement Awards, is donating 1,000 pairs of Yeezys to nonprofit Soles 4 Souls, along with wife Kim Kardashian.

Yeezy fans should keep their eyes and ears peeled, because a new Yeezy sneaker is on its way. During West’s memorable speech at the FN Achievement Awards, he said,  “[Adidas’ Nic Galway] is in China right now working on the next Yeezys.”
