British footwear brand Clarks has opened its first standalone children’s store.
Located on the second floor of the sprawling Dubai Mall in Dubai, the 400-sq.-ft. shop carries Clarks’ full range of baby and children’s shoes. The interior features a clean, modern design, detailed with open shelving and a red-white-and-black color scheme.

The new store is the first in a series of kids’ retail openings planned for the veteran brand. According to Sheldon Smith, group product director of children’s product, the company is eyeing other cities in the United Arab Emirates as well as China.
The Gulf region, in particular, is a key retail market for Clarks, representing more than half of its global store base. The brand currently operates 107 stores in the Middle East and Africa. That number is expected to grow to more than 150 within the next two years.
