Prince George Wears Start-Rite In Royal Family Christmas Photo

Prince George stole the show again in his family’s holiday portrait, unveiled by Kensington Palace earlier today. The 2-year-old wore Start-Rite’s Jo style for the photo opp with Kate Middleton, Prince William and Princess Charlotte. (Thanks, George, for giving us a good glimpse your shoes!)

The young Royals posed for photographer Chris Jelf, a former soldier, this fall in the garden of Kensington Palace.

George’s Start-Rite shoes were paired with shorts, a festive sweater and his signature knee-high socks, while Charlotte donned a floral dress from Spanish designer M&H and pink-ribbed tights from Amaia. (She wore the same outfit for a photo taken by her mother released earlier this fall.) The 7-month-old’s shoes fell in the grass during the shoot.

“The Duke and Duchess are hugely appreciative of all the warm messages they have received about their family this year and are very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four,” Kensington Palace said in a statement Friday.

George and his mom are clearly fans of Start-Rite, a well-known British children’s brand. He wore the shoes in a trio of Christmas portraits released last December. The toddler has also worn Crocs this year to watch his father in a polo match.
