Stephen Curry & Jamie Foxx Star In New Under Armour Campaign For Curry Two

Under Armour has released another ad starring sponsored athlete Stephen Curry and actor Jamie Foxx for the launch of its highly anticipated Curry Two shoe. The basketball sneaker was first unveiled by Curry in September during his tour of Asia for the Under Armour Road Show in Shanghai. The commercial features the first colorway of Curry’s second signature sneaker: Iron Sharpens Iron.

The Baltimore-based athletic brand debuted an ad starring Curry and Foxx for the Curry One in February. This time around, Foxx again narrates, asking, “How long does it take to change the game of basketball?” The response is, “.4 seconds” — the amount of time it takes for the Golden Gate Warriors guard to release a shot.

Peter Murray, vice president for global brand and sports marketing at Under Armour, said, “This story, featuring Stephen in the Curry Two, showcases his dynamic skill set, which is inspiring a new generation of basketball players to challenge the foundation of the game and lead the new era of basketball.”

The Iron Sharpens Iron edition of the Curry Two will be released globally on Oct. 24 and retail for $130. Additional colorways of the Curry Two will release throughout the season.
