Designer Jeremy Scott is already set to outfit Miley Cyrus for her MTV Video Music Awards hosting duties, and now he’s also shaking things up for the show’s winners. Those who land a VMA receive a Moon Man award, but this year, the statuette will look a little different.
Scott lent his punchy flair to the Moon Man, reimagining it in a rainbow of colors, with a peace-sign chain necklace. The MTV flag in the Moon Man’s hand is also multicolored. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Jeremy Scott design without his signature winged shoes.
Scott announced his design last week via Instagram. “So super stoked to be asked to redesign an icon of pop culture that I adore—the MTV Moon Man is the coolest award any artist could ever win and the ultimate to get to reimagine!!!”
