Rihanna, who first joined as Stance’s contributing creative director and Punks & Poet’s brand ambassador in July, will be releasing her first holiday sock collection with the brand. Rihanna took to Instagram on Tuesday night to make the announcement that the socks will be available for purchase on Nov. 19.
The video features clips of the singer behind the camera as she directs models on a holiday-inspired set. Snow flurries and christmas lights make an appearance, while the collection looks to include socks with marabou trim.
This follows Rihanna’s first creative campaign and fall sock collection that hit stores in September. This collection was comprised of 15 styles in a pastel color palette that ranged from crew to thigh high socks in a punk, goth theme. The vision for the creative was born out of a desire to let the socks speak as standalone fashion pieces, with symmetrical styling of the models who are wearing identical wigs that cover their eyes. Stance is continuing a major week, after announcing NBA star James Harden as Stance’s first Punk & Poet brand ambassador for socks and underwear. As part of the deal, Harden will release signature lines of Stance socks, as well as Stance underwear.
On Tuesday, Stance also launched its first season of underwear styles on Stance.com, called the Butter Blend.
