Rihanna held her second annual Diamond Ball on Thursday night to benefit the Clara Lionel Foundation, which works to improve the quality of life of communities globally in the areas of health, education, art and culture. Rihanna raised more than $3 million during the event. Kevin Hart hosted — and personally made a $50,000 donation.

During the impressive auction, Rihanna offered a trip to New York to sit front row at the Puma by Rihanna NYFW show.
“When I launched the Clara Lionel Foundation in 2012, I was following the example of my grandparents, which had been passed down to my entire family,” said Rihanna on stage. “It’s simple — we care about each other and we help each other. That’s what I want to do for my global family, too, with a focus on health, education, art and culture.”
Also at last night’s event, Rihanna unveiled the Clara Lionel Foundation Global Scholarship Program, which assists deserving students with full scholarships for an education anywhere in the U.S.
