Drew Barrymore Named Crocs Brand Ambassador

Crocs Inc. is going after some big guns — among them actress and producer Drew Barrymore— to promote the brand in an upcoming spring ’17 campaign.

Joining the A-lister will be WWE champion John Cena, as well as singer Yoona Lim and singer-songwriter Henry Lau, both from South Korea. The four will serve as global brand ambassadors in Crocs upcoming “Come As You Are” campaign, set to launch in April.

According to the Niwot, Colo.-based company, the campaign will celebrate the uniqueness of individuals and inspire people to be comfortable in their own shoes.

“When Crocs first approached me, I was immediately drawn to the positivity of the campaign,” said Barrymore. “Embracing the ‘Come As You Are’ spirit is about being comfortable with your true self in all that you do. As a mother of two young children, that message is important to me. There’s so much more love than there is lack of love in the world. You just have to gravitate towards it.”

“ ‘Come As Your Are’ is an invitation for people to come together and share their one-of-a-kindness,” said Crocs’ CEO Gregg Ribatt. “Crocs has never wavered from its identity: optimistic, versatile, comfortable and not afraid to poke holes in convention. Drew, John, Yoona and Henry are perfect partners for what our brand stands for — including celebrating diversity and all that makes each of us unique.”
