Eastbay Spring ’16 Ad Campaign Spotlights High School Athletes

Eastbay has once again tapped The Vault NYC for an ad campaign, this time focusing on its growing 13- to 18-year-old customer base. The agency is also behind a slew of other sports ads, for CBS Thursday Night Football, ESPN, Puma, Under Armour and the NFL.

The message strung throughout the ad is “Get the best to be your best,” and taps into the excitement that comes with spring sports such as baseball and track & field.

The athletes in the film are shown training hard and wearing brands available on Easbay’s site, including Nike, New Balance and Under Armour.

Bob Stephan, Eastbay’s vice president of marketing, said The Vault was able to bring to life the company’s goal message, “that Eastbay demonstrably helps the best get even better” with its offering of performance shoes, apparel and equipment.

“The spot is intended to motivate elite athletes,” said Jon Paley, CCO and managing partner of The Vault NYC. “We turned up the volume on all aspects: action, sound, shot angles, setting. Our goal was for an athlete to actually want to watch this spot before a training session, practice or game.”

The spot will run on several sports-focused outlets and other digital media outlets, including Stack Media, Max Preps and FloTrack/Mile Split.
