Giuseppe Zanotti To Open London Flagship Store

Italian footwear label Giuseppe Zanotti plans to open a London flagship store on Mayfair’s Conduit street later this year.

The new store will occupy a three-story Georgian Grade II building on the street, where neighbors will include brands such as Y3, Moschino, Vivienne Westwood and Yohji Yamamoto. The space formerly housed a Donna Karan store.

Spanning 2,300 square feet, the space will stock the label’s seasonal men’s and women’s footwear and handbag collections, and will have a dedicated bridal section. There will also be jewelry and RTW, as well as Guiseppe Junior, a new children’s footwear label established by the company last April.

The brand plans to retain some of the building’s traditional characteristics including a large bay window and a green garden space at the rear, which will be open to customers. The store’s interior will feature a more polished, minimalist design with white marble flooring and walls decorated with white and gray marble and brass panels.

Giuseppe Zanotti has two more stores in the British capital, on Sloane and Lowndes streets, in the Kensington and Chelsea area. The label is also stocked in Harrods and Selfridges.

“Our two existing London stores have proven to be a strong success in the past decade, exceeding our expectations and reinforcing our view about the potential of our brand in the UK,”
said Zanotti. “The opening of our new flagship in London, a city at the heart of fashion as well as being a global tourist destination, is an exciting development in our brand’s European growth.”

The opening is planned for fall 2016.
