Ermanno Scervino, Marni Ink Licensing Deals For Kids Shoe Lines

MILAN – Ermanno Scervino and Marni have each inked a three-year license agreement with Andrea Montelpare SpA for the production and distribution of Ermanno Scervino Junior shoes and Marni Girl shoes.

The collaboration between Marni and Andrea Montelpare will kick off with the fall-winter 2016/17 collection aimed to complete the brand’s offer of girl clothing collections, which are manufactured and distributed under license by Brave Kid.

Dedicated to girls aged 0 to 14, the fall-winter 2016/17 collection of Ermanno Scervino Junior will also mark the start of the partnership between the two companies. The collection will be presented at the next edition of Pitti Bimbo in Florence, slated for Jan. 21 to 23.

“We are launching this collaboration for shoes with the greatest enthusiasm, melding as it does love for beauty with a special attention towards international customers,” said Toni Scervino, chief executive officer of Ermanno Scervino. “We have no doubt at all that Andrea Montelpare’s devotion to quality will be eminently capable of interpreting the creative spirit of our collections, enhancing and symbolically rounding off the Ermanno Scervino Junior total look.”

“We have held Scervino in the greatest esteem from the very start, and we share the values of craft tradition, luxury and the contemporary touch that are the true hallmarks of the Maison’s style code,” said Andrea Montelpare. “We shall place all our know-how at the service of his impassioned creative research.”

Andrea Montelpare SpA, which also manufactures and distributes the kids shoe collections of Diesel, Roberto Cavalli and Iceberg, has been on a roll lately. Earlier this month the Marche-based company inked a licensing agreement with Alessandro Dell’Acqua’s upper-contemporary label No.21 for the distribution, production and design of No. 21’s kids shoe line.
