His politically charged performance made waves on social media — dubbing him with the best performance of the night.

The rapper earned 11 nominations this year, including Album of the Year for “To Pimp a Butterfly,” Song of the Year and Best Rap Album. Lamar has already won Best Rap Album for “Butterfly,” his fifth award of the night.

During the 2015 Grammys, Lamar took home the awards for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance.

It’s no surprise Lamar is performing in Reebok Classics, the rapper teamed up with Reebok  a year ago and has been featured in various ads for the brand. The “Alright” rapper has also been featured in collaborative “Studio Sessions” videos with Finish Line for the reintroduction of the Reebok Ventilator, a sneaker that first hit the market 25 years ago.

Lamar’s first shoe with the brand, the Ventilator, aimed to promote gang peace. Released in July, the sneaker was detailed with the words “Red” and “Blue,” with “Neutral” inside each tongue to symbolize neutrality and peace between prominent gangs in Compton, Calif.
