Before hitting the red carpet, celebrities took to social media to share their ensembles for the 2016 BET Awards.
The ceremony, held in Los Angeles on Sunday, airs 8 p.m. ET on the cable network.
Rapper Fat Joe was excited to share with fans his latest pair of kicks, which arrived a few hours before the big show.
“Special delivery,” he said in an Instagram video as he unboxed his Nike Confetti sneakers.
The custom shoes feature an image of his face on the laces and the tongue includes his group Terror Squad’s logo.
“They threw the Fat Joe face,” he added. “These guys claim to be sneaker collectors, and then there’s … the royal elite. A lot of guys are pretenders, I’m the realest ever.”
Actress Tia Mowry shared a selfie on Instagram and showed off her Roberto Cavalli mini dress and nude Stuart Weitzman pumps.
