On Thursday, “American Idol” will wrap up after 15 seasons on the air. The show has brought us countless entertaining moments from host Ryan Seacrest and the various judges, starting with Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell and ending with Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr.
While some of the show’s winners haven’t necessarily enjoyed massive music careers, others have blossomed — and so have their wardrobes.
In 2002, Kelly Clarkson won the show’s first season, and she has gone on to win three Grammy Awards. Following her “Idol” win, Clarkson hit the 2002 Teen Choice Awards wearing an American flag crop top, denim skirt and platform mule sandals. It’s a decidedly different look than what she wears now. At the Capital FM Summertime Ball last year, she rocked a pair of Tom Ford studded platform sandals.

Next up is Jennifer Hudson. While the season 3 contestant didn’t make it past the Top 7, her career has been incredible.
In 2006, she had a supporting role in the film “Dream Girls,” which also starred Beyoncé and Jamie Foxx. She won an Academy Award, Golden Globe Award and SAG Award for that role. Hudson has also won several Grammy Awards. Along the way, she’s upgraded her fashion looks. Hudson has embraced her personal style and is a fan of fitted dresses and sexy pumps.

Season 4 in 2005 brought us country sweetheart Carrie Underwood. While she might have been unsure of herself when she first came into the limelight, Underwood has turned into one of country music’s most glamorous and stylish stars.
At this year’s Grammy Awards, Underwood wore Giuseppe Zanotti peep-toe pumps, and at the ACM Awards on April 3, she rocked a pair of Rene Caovilla sandals on the red carpet and switched into dramatic lace-up sandals for her performance.

At age 17, Jordin Sparks was the show’s youngest winner when she was crowned in 2007 during season 6. Her youthful teen style has evolved, and she has since worn everything from cool sneakers to simple strappy sandals. She’s continued to sing and has also appeared in several TV shows and movies. Sparks has won awards at the Teen Choice Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and more.
