Beyoncé Accepts CFDA Fashion Icon Award In Givenchy And Christian Louboutin

To the surprise of many, Beyoncé showed up at the 2016 CFDA Awards on Monday night to accept the Fashion Icon Award.

Rumors began swirling about the award on social media only moments before designer Diane von Furstenberg presented Beyoncé the honor. Paparazzi captured Beyoncé, husband Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy heading into the event at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

When Beyoncé took to the stage to accept the award, she wore a Givenchy Haute Couture black suit with shimmering pinstripes. Naomi Campbell first debuted the jacket on the runway at the Givenchy men’s spring ’16 show. Bella Hadid wore the full look for an event at the Cannes Film Festival in France last month.
