Beyoncé certainly knows how to make an entrance. Following her buzzed-about “Lemonade” visual album debut on HBO on Saturday night, the singer kicked off her Formation World Tour on Wednesday in true Queen Bey style.
The singer’s show — at Miami’s Marlins Park — left the focus on her vocals, dance moves and incredible outfits, provided by some of fashion’s top designers.
Balmain designer Olivier Rousteing, who counts the likes of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Joan Smalls and others as part of his “Balmain Army,” added Beyoncé to his roster. Rousteing made a custom ruffled white bodysuit and pale blue/gray suede thigh-high boots for the star.

Roberto Cavalli creative director Peter Dundas kept with the Cavalli aesthetic, dressing Beyoncé in a custom bodysuit embroidered with black crystals and gold thread. The designer capped off her look with a pair of tiger-print velvet thigh-high boots.
Beyoncé’s opening look to perform her song “Formation” was a custom ensemble by Dsquared2 designers Dean and Dan Caten.
She wore a red leather bodysuit with red patent leather thigh-high boots to sing some of her top songs, including “Crazy in Love.”
Bey closed the show with her song “Halo,” which she dedicated to husband Jay Z, who has come under fire following the release of “Lemonade,” which alludes to his infidelities.
“I want to dedicate this song to my family; thank you guys for supporting me. I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband. I love you so much,” she said. She thanked the crowd at Marlins Park “for a beautiful night.”
She also paid tribute to iconic musician Prince, who passed away last week, allowing the crowd to sing along to Prince’s hit “Purple Rain.” The tour next heads to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Fla., on Friday.
