Sophisticated sartorialist Cate Blanchett changed up her look this week while traveling. The actress was spotted at the Hong Kong airport in a particularly black-tie-ready pair of sneakers from the spring Roger Vivier collection — with a pair of overalls.
Blanchett, who has been spotted recently promoting her Oscar-nominated film “Carol,” wore the navy blue slip-ons accented with the iconic Vivier buckle with a pair of comfy overalls (not your average denim overalls though — they were by Chloé) and a bold pair of sunglasses.
The Vivier slip-on kicks are a nice boost to the typical travel-shoe wardrobe and a playful look for fashion risk-taker Blanchett. They also just happened to be a favorite style of Vivier muse Inès de la Fressange for spring.
