Melania Trump Wears Christian Louboutin for First White House Visit

Fashion followers should get used to seeing Melania Trump in Christian Louboutin when it comes to her footwear as first lady. The former model has been seen wearing the red-bottomed shoes during nearly every public appearance.

Today, she joined her husband and the elected president of the United States, Donald Trump, for a visit to the White House. There, Melania joined first lady Michelle Obama for a meeting, while Trump and President Barack Obama officially met for the first time.

For Melania, this day marked her first trip to the White House.

“My No. 1 priority in the next two months is to try to facilitate a transition that ensures our President-elect is successful,” Obama told the press alongside Trump in the Oval Office. “If you succeed then the country succeeds.”

Trump said the meeting was a “great honor,” which lasted close to 90 minutes and he is looking forward to Obama’s “counsel.”
