Hollywood’s Leading Men Making Waves In Fashion

Hollywood’s new class has tons of talent and major style. On the men’s side, actors like Kevin Hart and Austin Butler are poised for fashion stardom. Take a closer look at the rising fashion stars, below.

Kevin Hart

Hart is no stranger to the entertainment industry, but after years in the making, the time has come for him to shine. The comedian is on a roll, with huge box-office hits, multiple global comedy tours and his own Nike signature kick hitting stores in April.

Stylist Ashley North, who has been working with Hart for nearly eight years, said with this amount of success and career growth, his fashion has grown and evolved, too. “In the last three years, Kevin has gotten really into fashion, and in turn we’ve started to create a signature look for him,” she said. “He’s become more aware of his own style.”

Besides Nike, Hart likes to wear high-end luxury sneakers from Balenciaga, Buscemi, Valentino and Saint Laurent. When it’s time to hit the carpet, it’s all about suits paired with laceups or, more recently, a loafer. Go-to designers include Louboutin, Ferragamo and Del Toro.

Austin Butler

The budding actor, who is known for dating fellow style star Vanessa Hudgens, is garnering notice for his own eclectic fashion sense, not to mention his flowing, young-Brad-Pitt-like hair.

After parts in the teen hits “The Carrie Diaries” and “Switched at Birth,” Butler is taking on more leading roles, including on MTV’s newest show, “The Shannara Chronicles.” He also stars alongside Johnny Depp in “Yoga Hosers,” which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January.

One of his stylists, Warren Alfie Baker, said dressing Butler for the red carpet is a great collaboration. The actor is a fan of Saint Laurent’s classic suede ankle boot and a Paul Smith dress shoe. “Austin is very in tune with his style. We work together, and I like to push boundaries a little,” he said. “He’s always open to taking some risks, and he is a great canvas for any look. Whether it’s a mod vibe or super-clean tailoring, he can do it.”

Michael B. Jordan

The star of the boxing drama “Creed” was honored as both Entertainer of the Year and Outstanding Actor in a Motion Picture at the NAACP Image Awards. Jordan will be attending the Academy Awards next week as a presenter. He will also be there supporting costar Sylvester Stallone, who is nominated for Best Supporting actor. Jordan has a pristine red carpet style, often opting for Dior, Givenchy and Louis Vuitton. Off the red carpet, the actor is a certified sneakerhead and a major Air Jordan fan.

John Boyega

The “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” lead actor has impressed on the “Star Wars” promo tour, as he was seen in Versace and Creative Recreation. Boyega, who plays Finn in “Star Wars” showed off his red carpet style in a burgundy-hued custom tuxedo by Versace, paired with a single black leather glove and black patent shoes at the film’s Los Angeles premiere.
