Ivanka Trump Wore Flower Power Pumps for Meeting With Tech Titans and the President-Elect

A power meeting merits a pair of power pumps. That’s why Ivanka Trump headed out in one of her own namesake shoes for a meeting with Silicon Valley’s heavy hitters today in New York City.

There’s little to wonder why the entrepreneur had a pep in her step as she made her way to Trump Tower to talk business. The daughter of President-elect Donald Trump strutted in a comfy pair of her brand’s Katie2 pumps that featured a 3-inch covered block heel.

The slip-on shoes incorporate a black polyester upper with a floral print design and a pointed-toe profile. They retail for $135 but are on sale for $65 on Lordandtaylor.com. She teamed the chic heels with a baby blue dress and a floral print purse, also from her eponymous line.

Although Ivanka has stated publicly that she prefers to keep a low profile in politics, she’s obviously keen on serving her father in some capacity, including taking part in a meeting with him and some of the country’s most influential technology chiefs.

Ivanka was joined by her brothers from Donald’s first marriage to Ivana Trump, Eric and Donald Jr., as well as Vice President-elect Mike Pence, among other political figures.

Ivanka said in an interview with “60 Minutes” in November that she doesn’t plan on participating in politics in an “administrative” capacity.

Trump will take over for President Barack Obama when he’s sworn into office on Jan. 20.
