Jennifer Lopez joined the rest of the Idol judges on Thursday night as America decided who would make up the farewell season’s top 10 finalists. Lopez opted for Valentino jumper and skirt with Giuseppe Zanotti sandals for the live show.
Later in the night, Lopez made a statement in a red Zuhair Murad Couture jumpsuit while walking the carpet at the “American Idol” Finalists Party. She paired the look with red suede pumps.
Lopez is big fan of Zuhair Murad and often opts for the designer on the red carpet. Her stylists and costume designers, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, talked to Footwear News about her new Las Vegas residency and red carpet looks.
“The Vegas residency is different from red carpet appearances. Her costumes are part of an overall show and work within the environment and feeling of that moment,” said Zangardi. “They’re big and over the top and show-worthy, whereas her red carpet looks tend to be more wearable. And, depending on the event, [red carpet looks] show a different side her of style.”

The pair has worked with Lopez on many memorable looks, including her 2015 Golden Globes ensemble featuring Stuart Weitzman’s Nudist stiletto and
a Zuhair Murad gown, and her 2014 Billboard Music Awards Donna Karan dress and Jimmy Choo shoes.
With Zuhair Murad, Versace and Giuseppe Zanotti as clear favorites, Lopez is one celeb who stays true to what works best on her.
