Jennifer Lopez took to the “Today” show stage in New York on Monday morning for an important performance. The singer collaborated with Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of the Broadway hit “Hamilton,” on a new song in honor of the victims of last month’s nightclub shooting in Orlando, Fla.
Proceeds from sales of the song “Love Make the World Go Round” on iTunes will benefit survivors of the tragedy that took 49 lives. The “Today” show invited survivors and their family members to watch the performance.
Lopez hit the stage in a white crop top and pants with sheer panels on the sides. She paired the look with shimmery white Casadei Blade pumps. This was Lopez and Miranda’s first live performance of the song.
