Lady Gaga was on hand to support her friend and stylist Brandon Maxwell at his spring ’17 runway show in New York on Sept. 13.
Maxwell has made a major splash in the fashion industry since launching his namesake label in 2015, assembling a group of fashionable fans that includes Naomi Campbell, Carine Roitfeld, Jourdan Dunn and even first lady Michelle Obama.
Gaga arrived at Maxwell’s show at the Russian Tea Room wearing super-short shorts, a crop top, tuxedo jacket and a pair of her signature Pleaser Shoes platforms. The lace-up boots have a 10-inch pointed heel and a 6-inch platform.

The shoes in Maxwell’s show were a stark contrast to Gaga’s dramatic pair. Models wore simple ankle-strap sandals with the designer’s red-carpet-ready looks.
