Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl Shoes Fetch $55K at Elton John’s Oscar Party

Lady Gaga is all for a cause. The pop powerhouse gifted her custom Super Bowl Gucci shoes to Elton John for his AIDS Foundation Oscar Party.

The red white and blue platforms were made by Gucci’s Alessandro Michele for Gaga’s performance of the National Anthem at Super Bowl 50.

The shoes were auctioned off to one lucky bidder for a whopping $55,000.

Another big auction prize included two tickets to the iconic Vanity Fair Oscar after party, which sold for $100,000. By the end of the night, the Elton John AIDS Foundation raised $6.2 million.

Gaga’s incredible month of milestones continued last night at the Oscars as she hit the stage to perform her Academy Award-nominated original song “Til It Happens To You” to a standing ovation. The crowd full of Hollywood heavyweights were moved to tears by Gaga’s powerful performance about sexual assault. She was also joined on stage by dozens of sexual assault survivors. Watch below.
