Michelle Obama’s Shoe Style In Cuba During Historic Presidential Visit

President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama wrapped up their historic Cuba visit on Tuesday afternoon after 48 hours of meetings, dinners and community events.

There’s no doubt that the Obamas — and their daughters, Sasha and Malia — will remember this trip for a long time. The first family was photographed numerous times during the two-day event.

On Monday evening, Michelle Obama attended a Cuba state dinner with her husband and several special guests, including House minority leader Nancy Pelosi. The first lady adhered to the “casual cocktail” dress code, wearing a knee-length floral flock by Naeem Khan and patent black pumps. During the rest of her trip, she opted for comfort, wearing red ballet flats and pointed-toe flats on several different occasions.

When the first lady stepped off Air Force One on Sunday, she wore a printed Carolina Herrera dress and embroidered pointed-toe flats. Later that day, she changed into the red ballet flats as she toured the city with her family. (Daughters Sasha and Malia also looked cool and comfortable in their sneakers.) Today, Michelle Obama wore the embroidered pointed-toe flats again as she and daughters visited a local park.
