As expected, many of the gorgeous gowns on the Oscars red carpet concealed the heels stars wore underneath. Jimmy Choo‘s Pearl sandal, which has become a new red carpet favorite, was worn by several stars. Reese Witherspoon, Olivia Munn and Isla Fisher all opted for the platform sandals for a bit of extra height under their gowns.
Heidi Klum wore Choo’s strappy Molly style, while Charlize Theron wore the Minny style.
Cate Blanchett wore Giuseppe Zanotti silver metallic peep-toe pumps with her Armani gown. Kerry Washington’s daring look was a departure for the Oscars. Washington wore Gianvito Rossi‘s Plexi pumps with her leather-accented Atelier Versace gown.
