Prince George Wears Trotters’ Canvas Shoes For Military Air Show

On a day when grim news dominated the headlines, a few new photographs of Prince George were a much-needed mood lifter.

The royal toddler — and future king — wore Trotters‘ Hampton Nantucket canvas T-strap style to the Royal International Air Tattoo in Gloucestershire, England. The style was still in stock on Trotters’ website as of late Friday morning.

It was a rare public appearance for George, who accompanied his parents Kate Middleton and Prince William to the event. (Middleton wore a pair of nude L.K. Bennett pumps.)

While George had a brief meltdown upon his arrival at the show, he recovered quickly and enjoyed sitting in a helicopter and examining the different parts of the aircraft.

Trotters has certainly become one of George and Kate’s favorite brands. In April, the young royal stayed up past his bedtime to meet President Obama and Michelle Obama, wearing a white robe customized with his name and a pair of light blue and white gingham pajamas. He capped off that look with velvet slippers by London brand Trotters. The slippers are embroidered with an image of a plane.
