Ahead of close friend Gigi Hadid’s birthday party at The Nice Guy club in Los Angeles on Thursday night, Taylor Swift went for some retail therapy at the Fred Segal store in West Hollywood.
Swift shopped at the famed boutique with country singer Kelsea Ballerini. She wore a pair of black denim shorts, a black T-shirt and Saint Laurent leather star sneakers, which retail for $645.
For Hadid’s birthday, Swift took a decidedly different style approach. She opted for a slinky, sequined, one-shouldered dress and a pair of black leather Vetements boots.
On Monday, Swift will be in New York to co-chair the Met Gala, celebrating the opening of the Costume Institute’s spring exhibit titled “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”
