Adidas Officially Confirms Yeezy Boost 350 In Black Coming Soon

Adidas has finally spoken. After widespread speculation that the first Yeezy release of 2016 would actually be a re-release of the Yeezy Boost 350 in black, we now know this is definitely true.

Adidas Originals tweeted on Tuesday morning that it would be “coming soon.” Some outlets are reporting that the release date will be Feb. 19, but that has yet to be confirmed.

This news comes as Kanye West prepares for his Yeezy Season 3 collection and album release at Madison Square Garden on Feb. 11. On Monday, West began sharing photos of fittings of the collection, including footwear.

Photos showed Yeezy Boost 350s in white and taupe, as well as a greenish color. There were also boots that look similar to the 950s released in fall 2015 but could be called the 1050s. West wrote that the boots are waterproof, and photos show a Gore Tex tag on the side which would indicate that. West also showed some clear heels with color blocked socks.

On Monday, West’s Yeezy.Supply site went live again with a countdown clock (which looks like it would end on Feb. 19) and a video of a woman wearing an ankle monitor. West’s voice can be heard in the background.

For the most recent release of the Yeezy Boost 350s in tan, Adidas opened its Confirmed app for reservations in Los Angeles, Chicago and New York. No release details have been shared yet, but check back for updates.
