Beyoncé Launches First Athleisure Collection

Beyoncé has lifted the lid on her first collection with Topshop owner Sir Philip Green: It’s called Ivy Park, and the singer has released the news today on the Ivy Park YouTube channel, along with images of herself wearing some of the pieces.

The collection will sell at Net-a-Porter, Nordstrom, Topshop and topshop.com.

Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and the London-based Green formed a 50-50 joint venture company, Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd., back in 2014. The athletic streetwear brand will be produced under this company.

“I have always loved Topshop for their fashion credentials and forward thinking,” Beyoncé said when the project was first revealed.

The line has technical performance characteristics as well as an athleisure side, targeting running and weights enthusiasts, yogis and health club regulars. More details of the collaboration are set to be released later today.

While we know that the collection includes leggings, crop tops, drop arm tees, sweatshirts and technical jackets, it’s not yet clear if shoes will be a part of the collection. In campaign photos and videos for the brands, Beyoncé and models all wear the same black high top wedge sneakers.
